Default Hair loss on nose?

Does anybody know what this is caused by? Is she just rubbing her nose on something? I was trying to google what this could be and some people were saying it can be a deficiency of some sort (can't remember what). ???

This girl is currently on pasture in the day and alfalfa at night... She is not on any grain, but probably has loose minerals. She's 4 months bred. We'll be picking her up in 2 weeks.

That's probably all it is. I don't know what else it would be but had read something about a deficiency of some sort. I guess we'll figure it out when she gets here.

Yep, if they rub on feeders to eat, it does happen.
If the skin is clean, no scabs ect, that is most likely what it is.

Last year I was using the 4"x4" goat panels for my hay feeder and everyone of mine had the hair rubbed off their noses! I changed the feeder and now they have their hair back but waste a lot more hay! *I can't win*
