Default Nubian doe storing food in cheek

We have a four year old nubian doe who miraculously fully recovered from Listeriosis. By fully, I mean even gait, able to jump, good appetite, energetic and coordinated. The only residual is that she stores food in her cheek. She seems to be able to empty her cheek, but it is frequently full. Otherwise she is normal weight and eats fast and enthusiastically.
Could anyone shed light on this?
Thank you
Laura

chewing cud is normal - they need to do this to keep food digesting
