July 17, 2015 at 07:55 PM Oh, don't even get me started on how much I hate this breed. We've tried Nubians on THREE seperate occasions, and they've all been the same. They scream at the top of their lungs when people are away from them (even if they have other goats for companionship), escape or blast out of everything, and are the greediest, piggiest creatures I've ever seen, even for a goat.
Once we went to see a very renowned goat specialist in our area to ask her if we were doing something wrong, and she said that when people come to her and say, 'Help my goat is crazy and I don't know what to do with it', 98 percent of the time it's a Nubian. We will never keep this breed again and I am quite glad of it.
