Please help. 2 yr old doe with precocius udder has left sided abdominal hardening. Had Mastitis, treating with Spectramast, and Excede, that's better. Has had fever treating with Banamine. Treated for bloat but not presenting with left side distension. The firmness in her abdomen is low from her udder toward rib cage. She has had several things in the past two days going on, but been eating, drinking, pooping. Now not acting like herself and grinding teeth. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Vet won't come out till tomorrow afternoon.

    Is her poop normal?

    Is she anemic?

    What is her temp?

    Does her breathing sound normal?

Any way she could be pregnant?

Can you hear rumen sounds? Maybe she needs probiotics after the antibiotics...

    Update on my doe

First of all, thank you all for your responses and support!
So, we saw the vet and he believes the tightness was pitting edema from a spider bite or trauma… still giving probios. My daughter and I now remember her getting hit pretty hard several days ago. So the good news is Mastitis is cleared up, she's eating, drinking, pooping and she doesn't have some life-threatening illness!

    Thanks again, everyone!
