I have a buckling in need of emergency transport out of a PETA connected transport group. He is located in CO and was on his way to OK. He is a special needs baby and has surgery awaiting him in OK. I have someone standing by waiting to receive him in OK. I am being threatened with his confiscation if he isn't picked up by 6pm (MST) tomorrow evening. They are also publicly slandering me with fabricated lies.
A little backstory, Chip is the only kid this year from my favorite doe. She passed away suddenly when he was 4 weeks old. Chip was born with an exposed urethra. A very kindhearted girl named Gina offered him a home. Gina is disabled herself and plans to have him certified as a therapy animal. Transport was the main obstacle and after months of waiting and searching, we thought we had arrangements with a reputable transporter. I was only just now informed that they are connected with PETA and refuse to finish his transport. I saw a picture of him yesterday that has me quite alarmed for his safety. He appears to have lost considerable weight and muscle mass. They also informed me he has lice. My vet saw him one week ago (two days before he left), no lice and he was given a clean bill of health (with the exception of his birth defects). I am heartsick that my little guy is in this situation. I just want to get him out of there! I am in NE Washington and am unable to go myself. If there is someone or a few people that could work together and get Chip out and safe to his new home, that would be amazing! For those who can't physically help, please pray that he is safe and that transport is able to be arranged.
    Thank you all so much!!

Mostly bumping this up but have you reported him stolen? Have you spoken to the sheriff and animal control in that county of Colorado?
PETA is classified as a domestic terrorist group.

    Bumping!!
I'm so sorry you're going through this, I will be praying for you and Chip.

PETA is terrible, they do not care for animals like they claim to do.
I agree with goat hiker, If you haven't already I would, if possible, reported him stolen and/or speak to the sheriff and animal control and explain the situation and see what can be done.

I just saw the other messages.
Thank you to everybody for your prayers and to Wilson Ranch Nubians for being open to have him temporarily at your place. After much back and forth, they shortened my timeframe. I asked for the address for where he was located. They wouldn't give it to me. Even if I had everything lined up for transport and a housing situation, I could foresee them coming up with another excuse for not letting him continue his journey. They went and "found" a goat "sanctuary" that they deemed suitable. Long story short, after being strong armed for every decision I made that wasn't exactly what they wanted, I went with their "approved sanctuary". The "sanctuary" offered $200 for Chip and I am taking that money to give to Gina. This whole deal was not right and downright appalling. Chip was never for sale, he was my gift to Gina. I was grateful for her generous heart to work to give him a good life. This is only for information purposes and my personal experiences with them. Sarah Ericson is the main transport coordinator for this trip. Rory Clow is the person holding him in CO. These are the only two names that I have that are involved. There are others, but I don't have their names. The FB group where I originally posted him is called Disabled Pets Gathering. I have been booted out of the since the conversations this morning.

    Too late...
For anyone else facing this problem. The OP probably had everything she needed to press charges of theft and animal cruelty. She must have sent pictures to the recipient, had the veterinary statements for his care, a solid caregiver who would testify, and hopefully a contract with the transporter.
As soon as she accepted money for the animal... They won.

What a horrible situation, so sorry that a good deed had to turn so sour.

I cant believe there are people that support PETA, they are crazed fanatics that cant even see reason anymore.

Wow... I saw this too late. I'm in Colorado, but probably too far south to do any good anyhow. I wish all the best for the little guy wherever he ends up.
