10 week old doeling had a fever and was not eating, acting lethargic... Took her to the vet and they gave her a shot of Banamine and Excenel. Once we got her home she started panting with her tongue out and her back legs went stiff. Called them and they said to give benadryl which seemed to get her back to normal. Was wondering which of the medicines could have caused this though? And if there are alternatives I could give?? They sent us home with two days worth of each for her, but I don't want to risk the same reaction again. :chin:

Since both were given, really can't say. Glad it was a mild reaction and she is ok.

Ask for Nuflor and still try the banamine if her temp is super high. I have good results, never had a reaction to these two.

But, I would have a vet watch her for I think it is about 30 minutes to see if she reacts badly to it, in case she is really sensitive to something.

I am sorry she reacted badly.
