Just finished making my first goat stand and was wondering if anyone else would be interested in one.
Extra heavy duty as pictured would be $225. This is 2 in metal. Will last a lifetime.
I can do a lighter version in 1-1/2 angle and 1-1/2 square for $175.
They can be finished in red, black, or John Deere green. Lol. Really I can paint any color you want. I can also build any add on you may want. Ramp , sides , wheels ?

looks very nice. but 2 things I see. Is the mesh on top of the frame work or just welded underneath? If welded with no added support, the welds will pop and the mesh will sage, break and the stand will be unusable. Also it doesnt look like its the larger gauge mess and not sure if it will hold up with 200 lbs does standing in. Second, I dont see an area to hang a lip pan. Not my intent to shoot you down, just giving helpful tips. Had a friend who used to make these all the time. He would like 3/4 inch square tubing. Which is of course much stronger then L but his prices were also a bit higher.

EDIT: I didnt see your other pictures. Scrub the lip pan holder remark :)

I really like the accessories (ramp / side bars)

I ditched the first design. I couldnt figure out how to edit the original post to put the new pics and info up. Sorry for the confusion.

The mesh is underneath as it should be. Sharp edges should never be on top. Its easier to do that way, but im not lazy so i take my time and do it right. The mesh is 3/4 #9 flatend which is over kill and is welded on every other diamond. The weld is 1/2in to 3/4. Not just a spot weld. I stacked 450 lbs of feed and the stand and it took it no problem. I guarantee this is the best made, strongest stand out there bar none. My prices should be higher but i would rather have a great price and see them sell. I have many happy people in 5 states already. The cage pictured ^ went to Missouri this past weekend. Here are a couple pics to show that they can hold more than one goat.
