If you are wanting meat I would mix her with a Boer. Everyone around here has Boer goats. Welcome! Where are you located? I am in Floresville which is just a tiny bit south of San Antonio.

Yep, Nubian & possibly Boer. does she have a buddy? you will need to get her one asap but please bypass the sale barn.

    I'm guessing Nubian/Boer.

What you should breed her with depends on what kind of kids you want. If she doesn't grow very large, go for a mini breed of buck.

    Welcome to TGS :)

The advice to avoid sale barns is good. We found a goat farmer close-by that traded for household items and that's how we got our second goat.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you have already found a companion for her. That should settle her down. Can't wait to see your new addition.

Daisy finally has a companion! My wife and kids named it Duke...So Duke it is lol...Daisy has seemed to be quiet while Duke seems to be the loud one now..lol.. i guess he needs to get familiar with his new home....Daisy is 2 months older and bit bigger and slightly rougher.... should i worry???

They will sort it out. Just make sure there are multiple sources of hay/feed/water in their pen so that she can't keep him away from them.
