Arapawa Island

Coat:
black_and_brown

This goat breed is just one of the many survivors from the Old English milk goat which is an England native. History says that they came as descendants from goats bred in New Zealand during the 18th century by a man named James Cook. Then they were left at Arapawa Island to be bred as a source of both milk and meat for explorers who would drop by the island. Through the years, most of them were removed from the island already and now raised by a few goat lovers in New Zealand. They have distinct and colorful marks of black and brown.
