This is a local goat breed discovered in the northern part of Lombardia. It got its name from its own color term which is Bionda. It is the Italian word for fair. On the other hand, its Adamello name was taken from a term that means Italian Alps. It belongs to the Alpine goat population. It is also very helpful in the production of milk and cheese. It has long hair that has a light brown color with white ears. Its color mix makes it different especially from the Toggenburg goat category.
