Calfee Farms

I am a nurse/ EMT and have farmed all my life. I started raising goats in 1999. In 2014, I became a Master Meat Goat Producer certified by the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University. We became a mostly rotational grass fed operation several years ago because we have a lot of woodlands and overgrown pastures and our Spanish goats seemed to be happier/ healthier feeding themselves (browsing/grazing) than us feeding them. My first time through college got me training as a Veterinary Technician. My primary job as a Nurse/ EMT helps fund my goat operation. We are part of a group of Conservationists across the US trying to save the Pure Spanish goat from extinction.
