What breed of goat is this on your avatar picture? I love the long stand-up ears!

Hey mariarose...I have 2 Pygmy does about 2 years old. I don’t have minerals for them and they seem fine. I’ve been reading they should have minerals. I had gotten them blocks but they didn’t use them. What should I get them so they will use them. They seem very healthy. I would appreciate your response.

Hi Mariarose, I do not know how to correctly and tactfully say, I have a shock. Although maybe I will soon suffer the same decision about the sale of goats, my wife is sick of cancer disease and she currently can barely walk, when she dies I have on hand will be children 11,9,6,3 years.

Hi Mariarose, I would greatly appreciate your advice. I’ll be taking in 2 NG goats, one is 7, mom of my yearlings, the other is one, same herd. I’m arranging for them to get pasteurella vaccines ahead of the move. I’m concerned that the stress of the move and the cold weather starting may cause illness, any suggestions on how to prevent illness for these and my 2? Thank you!

Oh, yes. That one.... I think their goat does have tetanus, yes. I could be wrong, and of course, I hope I am. But I think he does have tetanus. If they never found a wound, it is because it closed up right away.

Sorry I have a question, the goat had a wound? Tetanus infection developing in a deep wound where there is no access to oxygen, or tetanus can develop without injury and enter the body in another way?

Hi ReNat, great to see you again.
I'm truly exhausted and don't really know what we are talking about? What is the name of the thread to be examined? A quick answer is, so far as I know, tetanus comes from a wound that allowed the infection to enter the body. However, many puncture wounds are missed, because they close quickly and easily. Who are we talking about, please, and I'll go look.

I'm sorry we have that particular thing in common. Neither of us deserve that. Hugs.
