I am only now getting goats again. I sold my herd to move to Maine and have since returned home to Wyoming. Before I left I had a Boer doe, a couple Sanaans, LaManchas, and Nubians. I am starting a new herd now. I have two Nigerian Dwarves. One is for breeding, one is her daughter that is just a companion. I won't ever be able to breed the daughter. I like to have meat goats but now that I have Nigerian Dwarves I will need to find a Nigerian Dwarf buck. That way he can breed with any of the girls. I am hoping Nigerian bucks and Boer does still make a meat goat. We will see.
