Has anybody ever wormed a pregnant doe with valbazen this late in pregnancy and it was ok!!!!! Oh I hope the baby's are ok pretty sure she has twins in there..I'm so upset I should have remembered[emoji31]
I don't actually KNOW the answer to this, but since birth defects appears to be one of the main concerns, you are definitely safe in that area. It's too late in pregnancy to cause birth defects. As for the risk of aborting... if she's actually due this weekend and it simply caused her to go in labor (not did anything to kill the babies) that would seem reasonably safe, as well, you would just have slightly early babies.
The kids will be fine. The only reason the warning is there is because it can stop early implanted eggs from growing. Once the doe is about 2 1/2 months along, it's not going to cause a problem as long as it's just 1 dose.
I'm glad it will be OK! From your thread title and location in the kidding part I thought you'd named a goat Major BooBoo! And thought it was a great name for a buckling!
