got two brand new ophan kids today just a few hours old did miolk out the dam and tube fed her two babies colostrum and some other colostrum also and bar guard ,b complex and bo-se they had a rattle and were very poor condition but are becomming more strong still cannot walk one is trying har and wanting to suck the other is lagging behind some she had mor fluid in her ...can anyone offer anything else i can do or give them ...would an antibiotic help now ? one walking beant foward l=front legs and the other cant walk but trying .

Hopefully you'll see the Bo-Se turn them around soon! It takes a bit to get working. Keep putting them on their legs and helping them stand to practice. Also be sure the rectal temps are always above 100*F when tube or bottle feeding. You can repeat the B-Complex daily to help them. A Vitamin E (human) capsule squirted in their mouth to help absorb the selenium wouldn't hurt either.
some times as the selenium starts to work the leg musels stare to gain strainth the leg will correct them selves. i have done more damage with splints than good so i tend to avoid them if possible.
I have used the bracing method, but you have to make sure they aren't too tight, it is supporting the right area's and the baby can still lay down and get up.
It doesn't do any harm if put on correctly.
