Haha, so I live near a zoo. I happened upon a post about some goats, and checked it out. These two came from that zoo :). Shaggy is a mini Silk Fainter, and Maximus is a Nigi/Nubian. I've really falling in love with these guys they are so chill. Maximus lets me sit there and scratch on him. We also took over a retired mini pig from the zoo. She is 10 years old, chills out does her own thing. So it worked out good for the zoo and us.

Yep, they are both wethers, from our local zoo. These are "retirees" they arent old they just needed rehoming as the zoo as more babies :)
Not yet, on brushing the silk. His coat feels different to the touch, its really cool. He is a little shy right now, so I have been just sort of letting him get to know me.

Max has been absolute joy to our hobby farm. He's just a lumbering boy who seems to have taken the role as our lead goat. Clyde seems to follow him a little now, so its interesting to see that dynamic unfold.

:) - Its going pretty good. We changed our fence set up to allow for a buck pen, a doe pen, and a kidding barn. Clyde is doing alot better, I did have to seperate him again because he got pretty violent with Bonnie.
Now, I will say he's doing alot better, the other two boys have sort of settled him down some. They are all starting to play and gravitate toward each other more. All are healthy, so thats good.

LOL The pig is sort of a animal all to herself. The goats look at her like they have no idea what this noisy, animal is, but they dont harm one another and for the most part get alone. Half Pint and Clyde we sleeping by each other the other day when she had an entire paddock to sleep in so.

Thank you for asking :)
