    Very sorry for your loss.
    That is a very good question that got me looking up some information. Also known as ringworm..one study in sheep do find it to be caused by a recessive gene. Im still reading but thought I share this article. Its pretty interesting. Stating it take both a carrier bred to a carrier.

    Yes..this is what I'm understanding. But as a carrier..so as long as she's not bred to a carrier..will be ok. Hard part is not knowing whose a carrier.
    I think I would err on the safe side and not breed her daughters.
