Anyone have a doe completely lose their ligs but not be fully bagged up yet? Second freshener Nigerian Dwarf, no clue on her due date because this is an 'oops' breeding. :-X been losing plug since Tuesday, felt a baby right in front of her udder this morning but she's not full and tight yet. Last time she had a bowling ball bag that was leaking colostrum for 5 days before she kidded

I agree each Doe can be different.

Have some Oxytocin on hand, in case "after" she kids and does not have enough milk, it helps with milk let down.

Also prepare for colostrum in case she doesn't have any for her kids. Get some from a clean herd breeder if possible.
Or have a place lined up, to be able to buy the powdered colostrum, in case your doe doesn't produce enough just after birth.

She leaked some colostrum onto my fingers when I was checking her bag this morning, she's still not tight and strutted but definitely fuller. And today I can feel ligaments (just barely), go figure!

I think mine usually lose their ligs well before bagging up.
