Hi all

Would like a bit of advice before seeking vet treatment.

We have twin buck Arapawa boys who are 2 months old almost.

I have noticed that they never seem to have their tales in the air. They seem happy & healthy and are grazing and eating hay, but one of them also has fairly bad scours.

I can't see anything else visually wrong with them.

Any home remedies I could look at for the wee man?

Are you bottle feeding them also? Or are they still on mom?

Have they been treated for Cocci? You could give a bit of pepto to help dry his bum and sooth his tummy..but knowing the cause is important too....
what color is his poo? any new food additions?
is he eating and drinking water well?

He's on Mum, he's very into his hay and he grazes with his brother too. I have seen him drinking also... Haven't treated for anything yet. Should I consider worming him? We wormed his mum a few weeks before birth.

I would have a fecal done soon.......cocci may be it

I agree..cocci or heavy worm load...I would treat both boys...Not sure what you have where you are at..Baycox is awesome for cocci and Valbazen for worm load..

Hi all, both twins are all good now! However they are tiny in comparison to the buckling I got yesterday who is the same age. Maybe half the size. Is this normal for twins vs singles?

It can be. Usually it isn't that big a difference but there is a difference.

Good news, glad they are doing good. Twins can run smaller plus they had such a battle with worms. I bet they wil catch up

Yes, they are looking great now, full and stocky rather than skinny & runty!
