We just had triplets arrive for our first time which unfortunately cost us the mother so we are now hand raising three bucklings. As fist timers we are doing fairly well, all are now suckling. However, one appears to be straining to poop and pee. We administered an enema on day two and that freed him up a lot, he wasn't eating at that time but now is sucking down the bottle. He does seem to continue to strain. Few drips of pee at a time, pooping appears fine. Seems to early for UC love to hear any suggestions this group might have before I call in the vet. Thanks

Thanks for posting this old thread. He does/did have his cord attached because mom was not interested in him so we had to cut it free at birth. Figured it would just drop off like a human baby. There is a little bleeding there currently also. I have a call into the vet, but this thread sounds like a plausible diagnosis. THANKS
