These will be my first "pack" goats. I can't say I have a preference, other than I want to start them very young. I wouldn't have a problem with bottle feeding a kid that needed it, been there. I just want to work with them from almost the very beginning and I have plenty of time to work with them. Thanks much.

Keep an eye on Craigslist in your area and check it daily. A number of times now I have seen posting giving away goats at no charge.

I personally did not want to wait 3 years to start packing so I found a 3 year old
hand raised goat. then I got the 6 month old. Then I got another 2 year old when
the 6 month old turned 2 years old. Went right to packing. With treats it did not
take long to get bonded. All had been bottle raised babies.
