I wqas wondering if I could add say todays milk to yesterdays milk. I know I can freeze it also, but if I get a cup of milk today, would I be able to pour it into the same container that yesterdays milk is in?

yah but if you dotn use it remember the older milk will go bad faster which will make the "new milk" go bad faster as well. But I do this all the time when I have little bit of milk coming in at a time

I sometimes add "new" milk to milk from earlier in the day...but I usually don't mix milk from separate days together unless I am making something with it (cheese, yogurt, etc). And I never add warm milk to milk that has already cooled...I chill it first and then mix. If not done this way, I think the milk gets an "off" flavor very rapidly.

Thank you for your repies! I guess I will get two glass bottles and then freeze what I do not use after they are filled.
