Well, I am starting my soap making up again. I have done my homework this time, and seemed to have identified my previous problems. Just using one or two types of oil is not sufficient for a "luxurious" bar. In oder to have a scented bar, I should have tripled the essential oils. Tonight, I am using a whole new recipe.

    7.6 oz. Olive Oil
    7.6 oz. Lard
    6.3 oz. Coconut Oil
    2.5 oz. Safflower Oil
    1.3 oz. Castor Oil
    3.6 oz. lye
    8 oz. goat milk

and when I make a scented batch I will use
    1.1 oz. essential oil

That's great! I'm sure all will go well. :) Last time I made soap, the scent turned out really light but I still like the bars and I also put organic chamomile blossoms and lavender blossoms, so that adds a little variety. I think I might go and make some soap now! :D

    Did I inspire you?

You can put blossoms and stuff in it? That is so cool! Where do you get the blossoms and how much/when do you add it?

Um, I don't think so, but I can if you'd like. This last time, I added chamomile blossoms as the last step, right after pouring into molds.
