I've been searching for a registered nigerian buck. I found one that I like finally but I know absolutely nothing about registered goats. He is registered with Ags. But the other bucks I have looked at are ndga registered. So what's the difference which is better?

AGS is the American goat society, I believe you can register goats with adga that are registered with ags
NDGA is Nigerian dwarf goat association and is breed specific, which can't be registered with adga
I really think it's a personal choice which one you prefer :)

I'd like to know too, cause I think maybe in some areas there's more AGS shows, and other areas its more NDGA, and so on, but I don't really know whats more popular here. I have one doe that's registered with both AGS and NDGA, and I'm considering whether or not I should double register all of my goats, or stick to one.

I wouldn't purchase a NDGA only registered goat. Go with AGS or ADGA. If you have an AGS goat it can also be registered with ADGA and NDGA. Same with an ADGA only goat. But if you have a NDGA only goat, neither AGS nor ADGA will register it. You have a lot more options with an AGS or ADGA goat. I like ADGA best out of the three.
