I really hate that every time I use Blue-Kote, my goaties (and I) end up all purple. Surely there's a good antibacterial/antifungal that doesn't turn us all purple for weeks on end, yes?

I just got some stuff from Hoegger, I don't know if it's exactly what you are looking for but, it is an antibacterial for hoof rot, and it's clear. Called Dr. Naylors Hoof'N'Heel.

I alway though it was named blue-kote because every time you use it you get coated in purple. Shouldn't it be named purple-kote? Shelly

LOL. I think it should be called Purple Mess. Even though there's a danger of tipping the open bottle over, I usually apply it with a q-tip. I can't imagine actually spraying the stuff.

I use wonderdust for cuts and wounds. Works well for me and it is a gray powder so there isn't a huge mess that stains.
