Know it is hard to tell by the picture but I tried my best, we literally have 1/4" of ice on the INSIDE of our window above our bed. We have to peel our pillows off the window at night because they are frozen to it! We are in Gunnison, CO and it's only the beginning of winter lol thought I'd share this with you guys. There is even frost on the log below the window.

We live in a log cabin. It is heated, idk why our window in the loft is doing this, but it's kind of cool. The loft isn't freezing, just the window apparently.

Probably so. I was surprised because the window is double paned. Have to talk with the owner about that. Pretty cool though

It has to do with moisture in the house. When the humidity in the house reaches s certain point it can freeze when it connects with freezing temps.. such as a window.

I was surprised because the window is double paned.

The seal on the outer pane has given way and is no longer keeping the cold air out. That is why there is frost building up on the inside pane.

Oh wow that's crazy! I do agree, something isn't right with the window. Is it possible to put some kind of sealant around it and see if that helps?
