Another buck

    Well, my second Alpine doe delivered and it's another buck :sigh:

    I have one more to deliver. I really want a girl! Pretty please?!
    I got all bucks last year, too.

    congrats on the healthy kid - sorry its a boy.

    Are you using the same buck to breed the girls this year as well as last? sounds like you need to get a different sire

    Well they are beautiful even if they are boys!! I know the feeling though, hope you get some girls!

    Yes they are beautiful. Haven't met a baby goat, yet, that I didn't like.

    Stacey, they were bred to different bucks this year. I had 2 different bucks that I used.

    well thats just darn bad luck I guess.

    Are the does FF -- I have found that FF tend to give more singles (in standard dairy goats that is)

    No, they aren't FF. This is the 3rd year for one and the 2nd for the other.

    The doe who hasn't kidded yet is a FF. I am posting a picture of her in the Waiting Room. Anyone want to guess the date, how many, and boy/girl? :)

    Ohhh that's gotta be frustrating! But congrats on a healthy, handsome kid anyway...
