I dibudded my little girl when she was 5 days old and thought that I did a good clean job. Now at just over 4 weeks old, I notice that one side looks different than the other. The scabs have come off and the one side looks smooth and clean but the other side has a bit of what looks like a rise of bone? on the side of the burn. Not sure if this will develope into a scur or not. How can I tell at this age if I need to reburn. I hate to put her through it at this age because I know it is worse, so should I wait and band if it turns out to be a scur.

I'm glad you posted this. I would like to know too. The boys I did, do not look like they took. They actually look BIGGER then when I disbudded them. Kinda thick and I don't want to put them through re-disbudding.
