I feel bad because I keep asking questions on here but a couple day ago I made a post about breeding my Nubian in January but I was talking to my FFA teacher and we found out our county fair and auction doesn't allow babies that aren't weaned to be at fair so I was wondering if I could breed her a month early (December, 13 months old) so that the kids would be old enough to be weaned. This selling is important to me for next year, but her health and we'll being is in my best interest so if not that's fine

No worries about all the questions!! That's what we're here for! 😉

I would say it would be perfectly fine to breed her a month early. But she is your goat and you know her the best. Go with your gut and if you don't think she'll be ready then don't put her in a bad situation. 😉😁

13 months is perfectly fine. I have, and many others bred as young as 9 months. Only certain ones, they have to meet certain criteria for me to do that. Some get held back. But by 13 months she most likely is good to go!
