I dont know if i can find one local but considering trying to find one for my mare. ever since she had her first foal(on lease) her hip or rear leg pops when she moves. Doesnt seem to cause an issue but im sure its not great.
My chiropractor, Dr. Baker was more than happy to see our baby deer, Hope. He is a normal human chiropractor, but does animals too. He does snakes, birds, horses, cows, sheep,,now deer (lol), and other animals. So, you may ask your chiropractor (or any near you) if they do horses. A lot of them do, but just don't advertise it.
15 years ago I went to a 3 day animal chiro course (mostly on horses). I learned a lot of anatomy and physiology and was blown away by the results that I saw on the field day at a local barn.Totally amazing. I wish there had been more time spent on smaller animals, but I did see how well the chiro dovetailed with TTouch work, Homepage and you may want to look into some of that.
Agree. I actually am cert Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Did it while at vet clinic. Then worked with a human chiro that also did animals on the side. Check around your area for both. What state are you in?
