Just curious what tips or techniques you all may have for treating common goat ailments or issues.

No, not really-just wondered if anyone had any interesting ways of treating things that they have found that works.

skin irritations.for example a squirt or red wine in the eye can clear up some eye irritations.

For skin to help with it being dry after clipping, help with sunburn (on those darn saanens who insist in laying in the sun when it's 90 degrees out!!!), and to keep the bugs off I use 3 parts skin-so-soft oil to 1 part water in a mist bottle, put it on after clipping and it does a great job and they smell fantastic (it also makes a decent show product for shine)!!

I use sugar mixed in vaseline for wounds. Oddest thing. I learned it from an old doctor who used it on bedsores...which was one of the few things that works very well on bedsores.
