Does anyone know of a vet in the area that might be able to help me with Snow's udder? I've consulted with my regular "goat" vet, and she is clueless. She said she doesn't have the ability to "flush" the udder. I called my dog vet and he prescribed steroids and penicillin. He also said warm compresses and massages and to keep trying to get the side to milk. I called him and he said give it a few more days. Snow seems fine, no temp, eating and drinking well, all bodily functions are normal. I am getting desperate here. I am not a fan of MSU - I had a bad experience with newborn orphan pups, so I don't want to take them there.
