A buddy of mine that works on a farm asked me if I wanted some cotton seeds to grow (one of their trucks spilled some while loading). He said the seeds are coated to increase germination chances. Just a few pounds. Nothing crazy.
Is it ok for me to throw a bunch of these seeds in one area of one of my goat sections they are currently not using?
Cotton plants on farms have tons of leaves. Figure it would be something different for them to eat. Just don't know if it's considered "toxic" the leaves that is.
Anyone have goats the break free to a neighbors farm for cotton leaves or fed cotton leaves before?
Just want to make sure their safe.
