Our neighbor un-knowingly let our goats into an area on our farm where the old grain bins stand....there are some old dry soy beans in and around the area....I caught the little buggers chowing down.....will they hurt them? If so what can I do?
    Thanks so much! Denise

Soy in excess as in a regular feeding ration is not good for goats(or any ruminants for that matter) but if they accidently got in it it won't hurt them. Probably keep an eye on them and make sure they don't get an upset stomach and put baking soda out.

Any change in diet can sometimes cause the runs. Having baking soda available to them isnt a bad idea as well as having some pepto handy just in case they start with the runs.
