And I know this has nothing to do with quality, but they cost a lot less too, especially when you add in the cost of fuel to get the others. That’s not my deciding factor, but it is a contributing one.
Are these co-op minerals ok?
I’m almost out of the Cragill Onyx mineral bag I have. I cannot get Sweetlix or more Onyx unless I drive about 2 hrs. The only Purina Wind and Rain minerals in stock at the two nearest Tractor Supply stores have fly control, so I’d have to drive about an hour and fifteen minutes to get one without. However, my local co-op has these goat minerals. To me, they look decent. What do you all think?

I did. Cargill is higher in salt and slightly higher in copper. The co-op one is higher in zinc and selenium. But mostly, they are pretty comparable. So I think I’ll be ok, I just still am learning when it comes to minerals.

That’s a relief. I only have so many options without driving far or paying for shipping, so it’s nice to hear that at least a locally available one has worked for others as well.
