I’ve got an 11yr old ND doe who’s had arthritis since I’ve had her. For the first year I was able to manage her pain with Molly’s Herbals joint supplement but I had to mix it with grain and that became a problem as she easily gains weight and was around 110lbs. I stopped the supplement after winter and put her on a diet. She went from 110lbs to 80lbs and didn’t have any noticeable pain for around 6 months. Her front left leg started hurting her and she couldn’t keep up with the herd so I started treating with Icon injections and horse glucosamine treats. They seemed to relieve some of her pain but I noticed this week that her back left knee and hip are bothering her. Is there something stronger I could give her to relieve her pain that can be given frequently without causing stomach ulcers?

Meloxicam is pretty safe for long term pain management. Dose is a but big though. You have to get through a vet.
