Where do I start?
The couple of days she was outside with her mom I would see her laying down lot. Once in a while she would run or play with the others. So I thought she was just a calm goat. It was getting cold, saw she was struggling so I brought her in. Me thinking she had pneumonia so took her to the vet. They said she's fine and gave her on shot of antibiotic. Brought her back home. That's was last week.

Two days ago when she would lay down she would cry. Get comfortable and sleep. Yesterday she didn't eat much. Was feeding her out of a 5oz baby bottle 4 times every 24h. But now she's just eating maybe 3 Oz every feeding sometime 2 Oz.

Yesterday when she would want to lay down she would cry even more and get up and try again. She would eventually fall asleep but I now I think something is wrong.

Does it have a recommendation for dosage?
I’ve actually not used it. I’ve given human vitamins orally to babies…
You could also get a pinch of loose minerals and put in her a mouth to start getting her used to them.

Yeah it does I'll take a picture but now I'm thinking she has joint ill

Can they still get joint ill of you dipped the cord in iodine?

Did her umbilical cord have a hard time drying out? Any swelling or redness at her navel? Does she have a fever?

I don't think her umbilical cord had hard time drying. No swelling or redness and her temp is 103

That is 1cc per 20 lbs once a day for at least 5 days.

Have you guys ever heard about how many day for joint ill? I was told earlier that it takes a while so 10-14 days

If this is joint ill, the best recommended antibiotic is Baytril which is available by prescription only. Which joints are swollen, and/or feel hot to the touch?

How old is this kid?

No joints look swollen or fell hot and she one month

She had trouble laying down and would cry but that was in the beginning. And after laying down for so long she would get up and be stiff. She was limping a little it but not anymore.

Last night she didn't lay down at all. Her front legs a stiff. Her back legs are somewhat normal. Today I have been carrying her on my lap. She would cry a little but able to lay down with her legs extended out. I've been massage them and fold them as far as she let's me

Oh and Facebook friends told me she has joint ill. They said they won't swell right away but the stiffness is the first things that happens and to treat it quick because it happens fast.

I did give her some minerals and she took some but she didn't like it and left but I'll try again. That's the only thing i have of minerals or vitamins I've been able to get around here. I've asked the store around me for the selenium but don't have any. I'm going to have to go out further to different towns.

What do you think she has?
What should I be giving her?

Selenium/E gel can be ordered through several of the livestock supply companies online, and cod liver oil can be found in the pharmacy sections or local drugstores, if the bottle of AD&E wasn't purchased.

I did get the AD&E and they told me that you can overdose on vitamin A. So I got scared and didn't use it

If you think it’s joint ill, try to get baytrill from the vet. You are better off getting treatment started asap.
