She stopped eating around 6:00 tonight, I thought she was full so left her til 8:00 she still wouldn't eat, weird, just tried again and she still won't eat. Got her temp and it's 105. She's also sounding weird, like she's losing her voice. She also hasn't been pooping a lot. I think I saw her poop once today. She's been peeing a LOT. Does it sound like something you guys know? What should I do?

Do you have any banamine? Which kid is this? How old? Are you feeding Goats milk, replacer, or whole milk?

No I don't have either. I was waiting to get paid on Sunday before I went to TSC to buy some stuff. Plus I haven't had a vehicle to get there. I could ask Bethany if she had any and maybe buy a dose from her.

Does she feel bloated? Is she acting off/crying out?

If you put your ear up to her chest does it sound crackly?

If it were me I would call the vet and see what they think and ask from some banamine.

She doesn't look bloated but she does feel slightly bloated. She has been crying out. Her chest sounds fine, normal. Other than that and not eating she's been acting fine. My mom is going to call the vet while I'm at work in the morning and ask. Then she'll call me and I'll probably head up there if they can give me some banamine and anything else. The only antibiotic I have is LA200, will that work? How much?

banimine is for pain ...swelling..gut issues..and drops temp....it doesn't stop what's causing the problem...

Your goat needs to be started on antibiotics .....Nuflor and banimine... has to be bought at the vets........if you can't get them..........any antibiotic that cures pneumonia will be good for her...

Honestly. I would get her to a vet sooner than the morning. That temp is just going to keep climbing from my experience. But if thats not possible then I would start the LA-200 as Stacey said. ;)

She only weighs about ten lbs so 1/2 cc? And I can't get her to the vet earlier than the morning. Could I give her any type of human medicine to help with the temp? (like aspirin or ibueprofen?)

I would be afraid to give aspirin because it can be very irritating to the stomach.

the antibiotics will help with the temp.

if you have children's asprin 81mg then you can give her one of those.

I'll go ahead and give her the LA200 tonight and get her to the vet in the morning. I'll see what he wants to try with her. And she did just take a bottle only about 5 ounces though.

Thanks, I just gave her the LA200. She was not happy about it either. I'm so scared though. When she cries it sounds so pathetic right now. :( But she's still up and playing. I'll be waking up to check on her through the night too. Paranoia is setting in.
