Hello everyone,

Recently one of my goats, Yoda has developed greenish brown clumping berries. All my goats are fed grass hay twice a day, small amounts of grain every 3-4 days, pine/fir branches free choice and free choice minerals. The only thing different is the fresh green pasture, could this be the reason? Only 1 of 4 of my goats is having the problem. Any ideas or could it be something else.

It is common for goats eating fresh green plants to have softer clumpy type stool. Dryer types of forage like hay and woody browse will produce harder berry type droppings.
