Diameter??
banding time
so I have a 7 1/2 mos old doe that I had to band 1 horn due to regrowth. the horn is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, i groved it and put on 2 bands. From those that has done this before, around how long does it take for the horn to start making its way off?

I mistyped its about an inch or less in diameterDiameter??
It took about 3 weeks start to finish with the doelings I banded at 5-6 months old. I did the more surgical method though. I took a scalpel and made an incision 180 degrees around the front of the horn base, 1/4 inch below the ridge. Then I put the bands into the incision.
