How long, after you band them, do their testes sack feel cool. I banded Willie at 3:00 on Sat. and his sack feels warm and his testes feel soft and mushy. It's only been 48 hours, but I'm still a bit nervous Candy :sun:
Don't worry! I fretted about this like crazy when I did my first boys. They didn't seem to change for about a week or so, but then all of a sudden they shriveled up! Just keep an eye on them.
best advice I ever heard for someone new to banding is put the band on, and dont look at the area for a month :thumb:
When I banded Moo, they stayed squishy for almost a week, cold after 3 days. The week after they were hard and shriveled. I do believe that the "bands" have been altered by the manufacturer in the last few years as the first boys I banded 7 years ago were cold within a few hours.
