Went to go feed the goats a bit ago... when I got to the barn one of the kids was in the wrong pen.... super duh me.... My other doe Philippina had just dropped her first... should be an interesting night... She still looks awefully big, so not sure if there is another one in there... so will keep checking on her... the one that fell was another buck.. that makes three in less than 9 days... and all I wanted were does... brutal... but he is a cuty...
Congrats on the new addition.... :thumb: does she have any afterbirth coming out yet? If so ...she may be done..... if you are unsure ....you can either bounce her or go in.....and check..... I had a bucky year ............this year as well...it is a bummer but....at least they are healthy.... :wink:
Yes, there was after birth and quite a bit... just checked again and just the one... he is a bit bigger than the other two from last week... maybe will keep this guy intact... Not going in... she is talking/bonding with the kid now... strange though.. this guy's hair is all wavey.. should be interesting... thanks for your input Pam.. .much appreciated... moe
