We have recently gotten a whole lot of biting flies and they are starting to bite the goats. I just noticed a little blood on one of the does legs and found a little 'wound'; and I put hydrogen peroxide on it and fly spray, but I'm wondering is there anything to keep them away?

    Thanks in advance! :)

Bronco horse spray works well, it has citronella added to help repel bugs...TSC carries it by the quart as well as the gallon.

Yes I also tried the spray. I tried Bug Button products they were worth to use. The remvoed the mosquitoes quickly and for a long time.

I had a problem with this a month or so ago. When Tropical Storm Lee blasted through our part of the woods, it also blew in a swarm of these nasty buggers. My girls were getting bit, I was getting bit. No wounds though.

It lasted only a day and we have not had a problem since.
