Do anyone know if goats will use these as shelter?

Tilted on its side of course, without the lid. And anchored so it can't roll around like a goat roller coaster.

They're pretty easy to get around here and big enough for my mini's to squeeze into, two even if its my smaller ones (Rudy, Sugar).

Also thinking would be great for kids to snuggle into?

Just trying to think of ways to add extra shelter, as sometimes the meaner does will chase Cowbell or Rudy out of their shelter.

Yes they make wonderful shelters. We use them first with our newborns, my husband has put heat lamps, drain and vent holes, raised off the ground and a kid size hole. As the kids grow they continue to love their blue barrels. I'll try to put some pics up.

I'm not sure if the adults would go in, but that would be excellent for kids to snuggle up in and stay warm.

I one have for my goats that's black. I cut both ends off and they love laying in it to get out of the sun. They won't use it when it's raining or in the cold months because it gets wet inside. My biggest goat is a 70lb Nigerian.
