my buck in quarantine was negative for all tested, except blue tongue via celisa. i dont even know what it is until i looked it up. he has never been "sick". what is the chance of the results being an error? should i test my herd even though they havent been with him? but they are within seeing distance.

I would retest before getting too worried. Blue tongue is not very common in goats. Seen more in wild ruminates . Recheck then work with your vet on a plan of action if needed.

thank you, i was told its common for goats to have the antibodies for blue tongue and needs to be tested for the PCR which test to see if he actually has the virus not if he had it years ago. so wrong test.
