my daughters 4h wether has a lump where we gave the shot a couple weeks ago. Its hard and about the size of a quarter. He goes to fair in about 2 weeks and we have to clip him next week so it will be very noticable. Is there a way to get rid of the lump?? This was the only time he got a lump from the shot. I give it behind the right front leg where the vet showed me to give it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Those darn lumps are why I like to give them in the fatty part of shoulder in front where they dont stick out like a sore thumb.
It's aggravating when you have a show in two weeks & even though everybody knows the elbow is the most common , there it is for the whole world to see.

Good to hear.
If you use Colorado Serum, there is less of a chance to get the lump. I have also started to give 1cc in one arm pit and the other 1cc in the other pit. I draw up the whole 2cc at once.
