A few days ago I said to my husband, "I really want to get a camera hooked up in the goat shed 'cus I'd love to see how they get so much hay inside their dog houses." His reply was.........."When there is hay left at the bottom of the feeder that they won't eat I toss it in there for bedding."

    Thats SO funny

I do the same thing- I got so sick of wasted hay, and dumping money into shavings that the hay has become multipurpose, when they pull it out and leave it on the ground I will pick it up and throw it back in the rack (the majority ends up on the ground when they try to pull a bite out and a whole bunch comes with it and falls- god forbid a goat be forced to eat of the ground- LOL), and then whatever they dont eat the second time around gets spread around for bedding.
