So, we got the yard setup and let Clyde and Bonnie room together, yesterday I am pretty certain lol he bred her.

I have a question, if a doe is bred, will a buck leave her alone or still try to breed her?

No. A buck will usually continue to try to breed a doe while she is pregnant.

Actually depends on the buck. There are bucks that leave does alone once they are pregnant.

It seems to me, after a few days a buck will be less aggressive in doing the deed because he's worn himself out and they get more comfortable in each other's presence. However if the doe has a five day heat then it's back on duty for Bucky boy lol.

It's nice to see you back on TGS, I hope all is going well with y'all!

Haha - thanks for the welcome back -
We've been busy around here and its been pretty wild.

Yeah, lol needless to say Clyde was happy but he just got to abusive for the little runt geught. So I separated them a couple days, they are out eating in their area now.

The noises he was making are enough for a horror film lol.

When a doe is in standing heat, she will allow him to breed her anytime he wants.
He will breed, then give it a rest for a while, then will ask her again periodically, until she finally says no, then runs from him or fights back.

Bucks will ask does from time to time, she will say no, when she is not in season. ;)

Well, I found sort of a down side to the metal barrels, while they are great for her, he was ramming her into the barrel. So I literally helped him by sort of positioning her, because...lol the poor guy was so excited, it was rainy here he went for the first mount, lost his hoofing and fell off the porch..So now Im laughing, Bonnie is like omg, Clyde runs up on her and tries to mount slips in the mud slide down the hill. Hes grunting, she's shrieking..it was a scene.
