This is my time trying to breed my mini alpine. I have a 1 year old mini alpine that comes in heat and stands for my ND buck. However after several times (3 separate heat cycles) of being bred it doesn't seem that she is bred. I know that the buck is not sterile as he has bred my other ND does. He is also tall enough to reach. Just wondering if anyone had difficulty breeding this bred and any other suggestions would be helpful.

Yes, the male is reaching her. You will love Mini alpines. They are soooo sweet natured. I just hope I can bred her. My other goats took so I am at a loss. I will give her a break and try again after 2 heat cycles.. try to have some spring babies
