I have heard breeding polled to polled is not good and can cause issues. Is this true? I really like the polled and prefer to have this trait in my herd.

Thank you for the information if you get a horned doe or buck but it's dam or sire was polled is there a chance to produce polled kids still? Example if I bought a horned sire but his dam or sire was polled can he produce polled kids?

No, they have to be polled to produce polled.

Thank you I think I will just end up getting 2 bucks one polled and one horned to be safe.
